ABOUT US
BIFAR is a Colombian company founded in 2006, with more than 17 years of experience, that specializes in providing expert advice and performing critical microbiological control and other tests required in the production processes of leading pharmaceutical companies manufacturing products for human and veterinary consumption, drug compounding centers, radiopharmacies, cleaning and disinfection product manufacturers, and cosmetic and hospital supplies companies. We hold ICA registration and INVIMA certification in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ensuring that our clients can trust in the quality and accuracy of our services.
A BIT OF OUR HISTORY
At BIFAR S.A.S we began to provide our services since 2006 with a team of two people. At that time, with a view to our growth, we began to abide by the strict regulations of Colombia to be able to offer microbiological analysis services in any city in our country. Thus, thanks to the effort and perseverance that in 2018 we were certified for the first time in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) granted by INVIMA and in 2021 we had our first contact internationally. Over time, we have expanded our market to other countries worldwide and likewise our work group has grown, and we currently have 36 people in the company, who have a high degree of responsibility, professionalism and commitment. It was with this great human team that in 2022 we were able to recertify for the second time in BPL, according to the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP), corroborating the quality of the service we provide both for our national and international markets.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Since the beginning of BIFAR, we have valued the critical role that the female gender plays in our sector, not only because it is a company founded by a woman but also because we appreciate the hard work and dedication they contribute to the growth of society. Regarding that, we have nearly 70% of women on our staff, with whom we have contributed to developing the country's pharmaceutical, hospital, cosmetic, and cleaning sectors.
Additionally, committed to the well-being of our employees and social responsibility to our community and the planet, we ensure the conservation of the environment through comprehensive waste management policies and reduction of the carbon footprint since we contribute annually with environmental compensation by planting trees and diminishing the use of natural resources in our process gradually.
